Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Operating Officer to join our team at Canadian Tire Gas+. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability, aligning with the company's overall vision and goals.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the development and implementation of operational processes and procedures to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and quality across all departments.
  • Financial Management: Establish and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
  • Human Resources: Develop and implement HR strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent, ensuring a high-performing team that drives business success.
  • Communication: Serve as a key liaison between the leadership team, employees, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication of company goals, strategies, and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a senior leadership or executive role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Skills: Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to drive business growth and operational excellence.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The work language is English, and the work environment is fast-paced with a focus on attention to detail.
