Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Operations Director to join our team at Canadian Tire Gas+. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and success through effective strategic planning, leadership, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Leadership: Lead and manage a team of middle managers, directors, and other executive staff to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Financial Management: Establish and manage financial and administrative controls to ensure the organization's financial health and stability.
  • Human Resources: Develop and implement human resources strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a senior leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong strategic planning, leadership, and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions.
