Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Student Support Assistant to join our team at NLSchools. As a Student Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their academic and personal needs, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany students during school and extracurricular activities to provide support and supervision.
  • Assist in the school library or office with administrative tasks and student support.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the school principal to ensure the smooth operation of the school.
  • Monitor students during recess and lunch hour to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
  • Assist students with integration into the classroom and school setting, promoting social and academic inclusion.
  • Monitor and report student progress to the classroom teacher to ensure effective support.
  • Assist students with special needs using techniques such as sign language, braille, and remedial programs.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a similar role is an asset.
