Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Guest Services Manager or their designate, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring smooth operations in the absence of the Front Office Manager.
- Serving as a role model for the service vision and standards of the Guest Services Team.
- Overseeing guest registration and check-out processes, including payment handling and team support.
- Facilitating training for team members on systems, security, cash handling, and service standards.
- Promoting teamwork and quality service through effective communication with other departments.
- Maintaining accurate room status information and ensuring proper communication.
- Resolving guest issues promptly and courteously.
- Assisting with scheduling, payroll, coaching, and performance management for Guest Services team members.
- Complying with health and safety regulations and reporting any unsafe conditions.
- Acting as a health and safety leader on the property.
- Performing additional duties as required, including support for the Food and Beverage Department.
Qualifications We Seek...
- Previous supervisory experience in a hospitality setting is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Proven capability to collaborate within a team across various departments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial.
- Proficiency in property operating systems such as Opera and Maestro, along with MS Office applications.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
