Accounts Receivable and Payable Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at Equation Staffing Solutions. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for processing and reconciling financial transactions, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Transaction Processing: Reconcile and process daily credit card balances, cash, and cheque receipts.
- Bank Deposits and Reporting: Prepare bank deposits and provide reporting to directors as required.
- Invoice Management: Distribute invoices, ensure accurate coding, and process in the accounting system.
- Payables and Expenses: Record and process payables and expenses in a timely manner.
- Vendor Management: Reconcile vendor statements, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues.
- Communication: Liaise with internal and external clients and auditors.
- Quick Pay Process: Manage the weekly quick pay process.
- Journal Entries: Prepare journal entries as required.
- Experience: Related experience in Accounts Payable with an understanding of bookkeeping and accounting.
- Education: Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business Studies, or Finance.
- Skills: Excellent Microsoft Office skills, with experience in Excel and Word.
- Qualities: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, a calm and thoughtful attitude, and a problem-solving approach.
