About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Canadian Addiction Treatment Centres. As a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of improving the lives of individuals living with addiction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and timely medication distribution to patients, adhering to NAPRA Model Standards of Practice and OCP standards.
  • Implement clinical activities under the direction of the Designated Manager, ensuring evidence-based practices and patient-centered care.
  • Develop and maintain a patient-focused environment, responding efficiently to referrals and providing health information to patients.
  • Participate in clinical and community initiatives to enhance patient care and position CATC as a leading provider of addiction treatment services.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency in prescription preparation, maintaining good relationships with CATC physicians and clinic staff.
  • Provide guidance and expert advice to pharmacy staff, ensuring adherence to professional and legal requirements.
Requirements
  • Part A Pharmacist Registration with the OCP.
  • CAMH Opioid Dependence Treatment Certification.
  • Experience using Kroll Pharmacy Software (preferred).
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certification.
  • Injection Certification.
  • Demonstrated patient-centered pharmacy practice skills, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
