Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at the Dr. Douglas A. MacIntosh Cancer Clinic in Belleville, Ontario. As a Medical Oncology Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and management of both malignant hematology and solid tumors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical oncology services to patients with cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct research and participate in clinical trials to improve cancer care and treatment options
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Royal College Certification in Internal Medicine, or equivalent
  • Completed sub-specialty training in Medical Oncology
  • Eligibility for APP under the ONT MOA agreement
  • Eligible for independent licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
  • Current CMPA coverage
