Job Summary:

The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist II to join our team. As a key member of our Medical Imaging department, you will be responsible for the safe, effective, and efficient performance of a variety of Magnetic Resonance Imaging examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI examinations on patients, ensuring accurate and high-quality results.
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment, adhering to quality control processes and protocols.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and experience.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education to stay current with industry advancements.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a Diagnostic Imaging accredited program with MRI certification.
  • Registered with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario.
  • Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists or Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Sciences recommended.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Previous experience as an MRI technologist preferred.
