Senior AV Installation Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior AV Installation Specialist to lead large commercial AV installation projects for Paladin Technologies. The successful candidate will have previous experience working with AV systems such as Crestron, BiAmp, Cisco, and Extron.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support, lead, and mentor team members to ensure successful project execution.
- Install and service cabling infrastructure and audio/visual devices, including pre-wiring, installation, termination, testing, reporting, and labeling per specifications/drawings.
- Install audio/visual equipment, including audio and video conferencing equipment, distributed audio, digital signage, sound reinforcement, control systems, and all presentation systems.
- Interact with customers and prospects to ensure all inquiries are handled professionally and provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure that safety and incident reporting procedures are followed at all times.
- Complete detailed and accurate paperwork and reports.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work in a variety of environments, from construction sites to finished corporate offices.
- 3-5 years' experience installing AV systems, preferably with a background in electrical, mechanical, or construction.
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Certification with Crestron, Polycom, CTS, Extron, and BiAmp would be considered an asset.
- Post-secondary education in electronics, electrical, telecommunications, or equivalent would be an asset.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean abstract.
- Ability to pass a background check.
