About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AV Specialist to join our team at the University of Toronto's Temerty Faculty of Medicine. As a key member of our MedIT team, you will play a critical role in assessing and integrating high-quality audio-visual (AV) solutions and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct needs assessments and analyze current AV systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design, set up, and maintain AV systems to meet the evolving needs of our faculty.
  • Produce complex AV drawings and documentation to support AV integration packages.
  • Plan and implement AV projects, including rollout plans for new technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to procure AV systems and technologies.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for end-users on AV systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum four years of recent and relevant experience in AV systems assessment, design, and implementation.
  • Demonstrated experience with Crestron systems and advanced skills in Crestron.
  • Strong knowledge of AV technology and ability to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Assets:

  • Technical certifications in Polycom, AVIXA, CTS/CTS-D.
  • UX Design experience.
