About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Learning for Life Childcare Ltd. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, promoting their overall growth and well-being.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities that foster learning and development, including storytelling, educational outings, and skill-building exercises.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's progress, identifying potential learning or behavioral issues, and provide regular reports to parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Environment and Resources: Plan and maintain a stimulating environment that supports children's learning and development, ensuring access to necessary resources and equipment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certifications and Training: Possess a Child Development Assistant (ECE level 1) certification or equivalent.
  • Work Environment and Conditions: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, combining sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
  • Language and Communication: Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work Schedule and Hours: Commitment to a 32-hour workweek, with a permanent work term.
