Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Lucky Auto. This role involves diagnosing and repairing a variety of automotive systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role
Work Environment
  • Dusty, outdoor settings
  • Hot and noisy conditions
Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturer specifications
  • Estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair needs
  • Complete reports documenting problems and work performed
  • Coach and instruct apprentices in automotive repair
  • Provide exceptional customer service
Transportation Requirements
  • Must have own transportation
  • Valid driver's license is required
Physical Demands
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and manual dexterity are essential
  • Overtime may be required
  • Standing for extended periods is necessary
Tools and Equipment
  • Steel-toed safety boots are mandatory
