Job Summary

Avalon College Limited o/a Avalon Career College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Vice President of Financial, Communications and Other Business Services. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in financial management, strategic planning, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives
  • Lead the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to financial management, human resources, and communications
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to senior staff and department heads
  • Represent the organization in negotiations and other official functions
  • Manage and oversee the allocation of resources, including budgeting and financial planning
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including employees, customers, and partners
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 1-2 years of experience in a senior leadership role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Work Environment
