About Total Credit Recovery:

We are an innovative organization in the financial services industry, employing over 550 professionals across multiple locations in Canada. We are currently in search of dedicated, motivated, and professional individuals to fill the role of Collections Supervisor.

Position Overview:

The Collections Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the collections team. This role reports directly to the Collections Manager. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement work schedules and procedures
  • Address and resolve work-related challenges
  • Assess training requirements
  • Track daily attendance and performance metrics
  • Create a strategic work plan, establish expectations, and achieve objectives
  • May engage in collection activities as needed
  • Ensure quality assurance through call monitoring
  • Conduct audits of files, calls, and work plans
  • Maintain a support desk for supervisory inquiries
  • Facilitate weekly training sessions
  • Participate in the hiring process through interviews
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide performance feedback
  • Manage escalated customer interactions
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Collections Manager or Supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections or a related field
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Excel
  • Familiarity with CUBS is advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Quick adaptability to new information and changes
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role is preferred

What We Provide:

The Collections Supervisor role may require flexibility to work both day and evening shifts on a rotating schedule.
