At CB Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse/Registered Practical Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting health and well-being.
Job Summary:Within the scope of practice, the Registered Nurse/Registered Practical Nurse promotes health, assesses and provides care and treatment by supportive, preventative, therapeutic, palliative and rehabilitative means to attain or maintain optimal function for the patient.
Responsibilities:- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and services
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences
- Current certificate of registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Must be compliant with College of Nurses quality assurance standards
- Current B.C.L.S Certification, or completion within 3 months of hire
- Ability to deal effectively and co-operatively with all levels of staff, patients and the public
- Effective communication, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt readily to change
- Ability to fulfill physical requirements of the job
- Must meet expectations for appropriate, respectful and professional conduct
