About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are equipped to provide it.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to help them improve their performance.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing inventory, controlling costs, and ensuring that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
    • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, ensuring that we get the best possible prices and quality.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Participate in marketing plans and implementation, helping to promote our brand and increase sales.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue, including analyzing sales data and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the restaurant's budget, ensuring that we stay within our financial targets and make adjustments as needed.
    • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
    • Knowledge of restaurant operations and management principles.
    • Ability to analyze sales data and identify areas for improvement.
Working Conditions

The Restaurant Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. They will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
