Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Cold Lake. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, and wash windows, walls and ceilings.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Customer Service: Provide basic information on facilities and address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
Work Environment

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role. You must be able to stand for extended periods and have a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
