Your Responsibilities:
  • Optimize the use of portfolio resources to achieve business objectives, aligning with key priorities.
  • Establish and maintain effective partnerships with stakeholders to deliver priority projects.
  • Influence and support business line portfolio managers in prioritizing and sequencing initiatives.
  • Act as a delivery expert, making recommendations to maximize execution efficiency and speed.
  • Ensure and optimize budget tracking of the project portfolio.
  • Initiate changes to current methods for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain effective methodology, processes, and tools for portfolio management, sharing best practices and knowledge within the organization.
  • Set up management KPIs to measure portfolio progress.
  • Produce tactical and strategic dashboards demonstrating portfolio state.
  • Deploy and maintain rigorous governance promoting cross-cutting prioritization of initiatives.
  • Analyze and recommend sequencing optimizations for initiatives, considering cross-project/sector/domain constraints.
  • Contribute to optimizing project delivery framework (Agility at scale).
Your Team:

The IT and Operations sector comprises over 5500 experts working in an agile, proactive, and collaborative manner to seize opportunities, stay at the cutting edge of technology, and continuously improve processes.

Within the sector, encompassing the evolution of practices, the evolution cycle, and the cross-functional portfolio, you will report to the Senior Director of Portfolio and Cross-Functional Delivery, Execution, Transformation, and GDMO (Dynamic Workforce Management).

Basic Requirements:
  • Completed bachelor's degree, related to the industry, and ten years of relevant experience or completed Master's degree, related to the industry, and eight years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in technology project portfolio management.
  • Experience in team management.
  • Experience managing internal and external partners and suppliers.
  • Experience in business process improvement.
  • Proficiency in Agile delivery methods and effective ambiguity management.
  • Knowledge of the banking sector, an asset.
  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence), an asset.
  • Ability to simplify issues, risks, and business objectives.
  • Ability to understand business realities of the sectors involved.
  • Good communication and ability to synthesize at all levels of the organization (from team members to executives).
Languages:

English, French. Reason to require this language: you will need to discuss frequently with our service providers or partners who speak a language other than French.
