Housekeeping Supervisor Opportunity at Executive Inn at Whistler Village

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Executive Inn at Whistler Village. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the housekeeping team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Recommend Services: Identify areas for improvement and recommend additional services such as painting, repairs, or renovations to maintain our facilities.
  • Assist with Cleaning Duties: Assist our cleaning staff with their duties as needed to ensure our facilities are always clean and tidy.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of activities.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure our housekeeping team is adequately staffed and able to meet our high standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, and reliability.
