Energy Transition Specialist

At 09 Irving Oil Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Energy Transition Specialist to join our team. As an Energy Transition Specialist, you will play a key role in executing our strategic plan to achieve our long-term goals consistent with our Grow for Tomorrow strategy and our strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and assess new opportunities to evolve our business in hydrogen, specifically understanding and enhancing our competitive position in all our markets and meet the changing need of our customers.
- Work with project teams (both business and technical), internal and external stakeholders to understand, gather information, and synthesize findings into deliverables and opportunities.
- Actively understand new and emerging opportunities in all aspects of the hydrogen and new energy solutions sector to strategically position our organization to move forward.
- Provide recommendations in the area of business development (including new & emerging markets and/or mergers & acquisitions, viability of partnerships).
- 7+ years of progressive leadership in project management, engineering, technical, and/or commercial roles linked to energy production.
- Proven experience as a Strategic Planner, Project Manager or Business Consultant.
- BSc/BA in Engineering, Business, Economics, Marketing, Finance or a related field; MSc/MA/MBA is an added asset.
