Irving Oil Limited (IOL) - Lead Project Manager, Renewable Energy Initiatives
The Renewable Energy Initiatives at IOL represent a transformative approach to addressing the evolving landscape of global energy demands. As a Lead Project Manager, you will oversee projects centered on Hydrogen, Sustainable Refineries, Biofuels, and various other green energy ventures. Your responsibilities will encompass the management and execution of capital projects valued between $1 million and $150 million, both on-site and throughout the supply chain.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Renewable Energy projects from inception to completion.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and construction teams.
- Establish project objectives in alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage safety, timelines, budget, and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assign tasks, mediate conflicts, and effectively manage risks.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers.
Your Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities.
- Expertise in motivation, performance oversight, and stakeholder relations.
- Innovative thinking, problem-solving skills, and strong organizational abilities.
- Financial literacy and acumen.
Your Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher qualification.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in project management.
- Experience in renewable energy projects or energy transition is advantageous.
- Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
