Position Summary: The Maintenance Supervisor will report directly to the Reliability Manager, playing a crucial role in enhancing the maintenance and reliability strategies within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and enforce the safety protocols within the maintenance division, ensuring all team members adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Support the plant's maintenance initiatives by implementing industry best practices, focusing on effective planning, scheduling, and preventive maintenance.
  • Reduce unexpected downtime by proactively identifying and resolving issues, while continuously assessing plant equipment and systems for improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with production teams to effectively coordinate maintenance and repair activities in operational areas.
  • Manage the purchasing system to track work orders, preventive maintenance tasks, and spare parts inventory, while analyzing maintenance performance metrics.
  • Ensure maintenance personnel are well-trained, equipped, and motivated to execute the maintenance program efficiently and safely.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all facility equipment, including corrugators, flexographic presses, die cutters, and conveyors.
  • Participate in the Plant Preventative and Predictive Maintenance initiatives.
  • Work alongside the Scheduler to estimate labor requirements for job assignments.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing constructive feedback and innovative suggestions.
  • Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and performance reviews related to plant operations.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • A minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in a corrugated box manufacturing facility is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in electro-mechanical systems.
  • Strong leadership and organizational capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills across various departments.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Adherence to policies and procedures while supporting organizational goals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
