Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our team at Standard Brass & Aluminum Foundry Ltd. As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of machinery and equipment in our foundry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabrication and Installation: Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machinery and equipment.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on machinery and equipment, including detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions.
  • Equipment Installation: Install machinery and equipment in accordance with blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
  • Quality Control: Maintain equipment and ensure that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all health and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
