The IT Support Specialist for Students plays a crucial role in maintaining effective information technology operations, enabling users to perform their tasks efficiently. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the initial point of contact for incoming support requests through various channels, ensuring a professional, prompt, and effective resolution of user issues.
- Assess and prioritize incidents and service requests based on established protocols to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
- Document and escalate incidents to the appropriate technician when necessary, ensuring accurate information is provided.
- Employ remote access tools and diagnostic software to facilitate troubleshooting processes.
- Verify solutions to confirm that issues have been resolved satisfactorily.
- Notify management of any emerging patterns in incidents to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with fundamental PC hardware components.
- Proficient in MS-Windows 10 desktop and server operating systems.
