Job Summary

The Senior Trauma Data Analysis role at Hamilton Health Sciences is responsible for analyzing trauma, burn, and research data to inform business decisions and drive quality improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations to support executive-level decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations to support business decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for quality improvement and develop strategies to address them
  • Provide guidance and support to Trauma Fellows, residents, and staff on research methodology, grant development, and data analysis
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and business intelligence

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in analytical or statistical functions, with a strong background in data analysis and business intelligence
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of hospital computer systems, including Meditech and Soveria
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with management information systems and data analysis tools
