Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

At Gold Lion Hospitality, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and ensure that all customers receive excellent service.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and walk
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to work in a noisy and odour-filled environment.
