Medical Device Reprocessing Technician

At St. Boniface Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Device Reprocessing Technician to join our team in the Operating Room. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing supplies, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures, ensuring that all equipment is properly cleaned, sterilized, and ready for use.
Responsibilities:- Prepare case carts for each surgical procedure, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Process instruments and equipment, including cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing.
- Assemble and restock surgical instruments and equipment.
- Transport supplies and equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment and supply usage.
- Grade 12 or recognized equivalent.
- Successful completion of a regionally recognized and approved Medical Device Reprocessing Technician Program from an accredited institution.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to interact well with others and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment, and to walk, stand, bend, lift, twist, and reach constantly throughout the shift.
