Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Device Reprocessing Technician to join our team at St. Boniface Hospital. As a key member of our Sterile Processing Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient processing of medical devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process medical devices for surgical procedures, including cleaning, disinfecting, and packaging.
  • Assemble and restock surgical instrument trays and equipment.
  • Transport and store medical devices in a clean and organized manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of device processing and inventory.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless device processing and delivery.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 or recognized equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a regionally recognized and approved Medical Device Reprocessing Technician Program.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and move patients and equipment.
