Key Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble, clean, and prepare medical devices for sterilization
  • Operate sterilization equipment to ensure proper sterilization of medical devices
  • Assemble and test medical devices to ensure proper function
  • Store medical devices in a clean and organized manner
  • Perform inventory control functions to ensure accurate tracking of medical devices

Requirements:

  • Grade XII or recognized equivalent
  • Successful completion of the Medical Device Reprocessing Technician Certificate Program
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to interact well with others
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
