About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at MASTER CONSTRUCTION LTD. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining structures, fixtures, and fittings in buildings, homes, and other establishments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
  • Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Prepare tenders and quotations
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
  • Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
  • Survey building locations and levels
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Supervise other workers
  • Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
