Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at 13725936 CANADA INC. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for leading the sales floor, supervising sales staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Sales Floor: Assign sales workers to duties, manage sales volumes, and maintain a fast-paced retail environment.
- Supervise Sales Staff: Hire, train, and develop sales staff to meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Authorize Payments and Returns: Authorize payments by cheque and returns of merchandise, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise in a retail setting.
- Organize Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient stockroom management.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of sales staff, ensuring seamless customer service and sales operations.
- Manage Cash: Manage cash handling, including counting and reconciling cash drawers.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with sales staff to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Work Setting: Retail service establishment, willing to relocate.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Outlook.
- Area of Specialization: Retail store.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel regularly.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, manual dexterity, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, initiative, ability to multitask.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
- Other Benefits: Free parking available, permanent employment, 35 hours per week, English language.
