Sheet Metal Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team at Ridge Sheet Metal Co. in a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacture and assemble sheet metal products in a factory setting, including ducts for hot air heating, air conditioning, and ventilation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
- Measure and mark sheet metal according to templates, and operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal.
- Grind and buff seams, joints, and rough surfaces to ensure quality and conformity to specifications.
- Cut materials using power tools or by hand, and fit and join sheet metal parts according to specifications and building codes.
- Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes, and inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specifications.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and physical stamina to handle heavy loads.
- Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, judgement, and organized work habits.
This is an on-the-road job, with various locations and a physically demanding work environment.
