Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk & Control Analyst to join our team at US Tech Solutions. As a Risk & Control Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of risk management and control strategies across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deploy Global and Local Control Plans: Develop and implement global and local control plans related to Operational Risk Management, covering key business areas such as Global Banking Operations and Client Engagement & Protection for the North American Region.
  2. Assist in Risk Assessments: Collaborate with CIB Operations teams to perform walk-through and data collection exercises as required, and assist in performing risk self-assessment, including analysis of processes, risks, and controls mapping, and quantification of potential incidents.
  3. Establish Corrective Actions: Set up corrective actions and formalize control plans to ensure effective risk management and control.
  4. Support Control Reviews: Participate in control reviews, perform root cause reviews, and provide recommendations and action plans to improve control procedures and processes.
Requirements:
  1. Strong Communication Skills: Possess very good written and verbal skills, with confidence and composure at all levels of the business hierarchy.
  2. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate innovative, enthusiastic, and execution-oriented attitude, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  3. Organizational Skills: Be organized and adept at managing competing deliverables, with strong team skills and ability to work independently with clear directives.
  4. Technical Skills: Possess very good desktop skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  5. Experience: A minimum of 1+ years of experience in a similar risk and control function role, preferably in Financial Services with a Finance, Risk, Operations, Audit, and/or Business Management background.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Advanced Education: A university degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  2. Risk Management Knowledge: Good knowledge of risk management, audit, and control methodologies.
  3. Experience in Financial Services: A minimum of 3+ years of experience in Financial Services, with a Finance, Risk, Operations, Audit, and/or Business Management background.
