About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Control Specialist to join our team as an independent contractor. As a Risk Control Specialist, you will work with our clients to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring their businesses operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Develop and implement risk management plans to reduce the likelihood and impact of accidents, injuries, and losses.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and guidance to clients on risk management best practices and industry regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in risk management techniques.
Requirements
  • 7, 10, 20+ years of direct experience in risk management, insurance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management principles, practices, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bi-lingual (English and French) is highly preferred.
