About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at CB Canada as a Mental Health Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients with mental health conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and develop care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current registration as an RPN with the College of Nurses of Ontario, in good standing.
  • Up to 6 months of experience in general nursing practice preferred.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act (MHA) and documentation standards (CNO).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient computer skills and experience working with electronic health records.
