About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Designer to join our Frostbite Content Team at Electronic Arts. As a Technical Designer, you will play a crucial role in pushing the boundaries of our game scripting tools and workflows, collaborating with engineers and game creators to make our development process more creator-centric.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement game and content scripting solutions using Frostbite's node-based scripting tool.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and game teams to improve the usability of content workflows and steer the design of new features.
  • Develop tech demos and create documentation and training materials to educate the Frostbite community and showcase our capabilities.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with node-based gameplay scripting systems.
  • Understanding of game design systems, world building tools, and node-based scripting solutions.
  • Experience with Unity, Unreal, or other similar game engines.
  • Knowledge of Lua, Python, or other scripting languages.
  • Comfortable engaging and building relationships with multiple teams and individuals globally.
