About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical UI Designer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a Technical UI Designer, you will be responsible for implementing menu flows and HUD components to design specifications using visual scripting.

Responsibilities

  • Implement menu flows and HUD components to design specifications using visual scripting
  • Maintain usability and quality of UI elements throughout production
  • Work with other disciplines to ensure implementation is best in class technically, visually, and for usability
  • Follow and advocate for best practices
  • Guide communication and collaboration between all departments concerning your work
  • Participate in the critique of your work, and the work of others

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a technically oriented web, front-end, or UI designer/implementer
  • Expertise in visual scripting, and working with game editors like Frostbite, Unreal, Unity, etc
  • Understand best practices for UI and UX
  • Experience working and communicating designs on a versatile team
  • At least one shipped game
