About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Services Aide to join our team at 1011166 BC Ltd. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced nursing home environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Patient Care: Provide basic care and support to patients, including taking vital signs, serving meal trays, and assisting with daily living activities.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure the cleanliness and safety of patient areas, including emptying bed pans and transporting patients as needed.
  • Communicate Effectively: Deliver messages, reports, and specimens between departments, and maintain open communication with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
  • Administer First Aid: Provide basic first aid in emergency situations, and maintain a calm and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate
