Hospitality Server

Position Overview: We are in search of a skilled and passionate Server to become a part of our team at BiBi Bistro. The ideal candidate will exhibit a love for high-quality dining, possess meticulous attention to detail, and showcase outstanding interpersonal abilities. As a Server, your primary responsibility will be to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our patrons, ensuring their satisfaction while maintaining the esteemed standards of our establishment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Guest Engagement: Warmly welcome and seat guests, presenting menus and providing detailed descriptions of dishes, specials, and beverages. Anticipate and meet guest needs to craft a memorable dining experience.
- Order Management: Precisely record and communicate food and beverage orders to the kitchen and bar, ensuring all guest preferences and dietary restrictions are acknowledged and accommodated.
- Culinary Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation techniques, and presentation styles. Be prepared to recommend wine pairings and provide insights on drink selections.
- Service Delivery: Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally. Ensure that all table settings are accurate and that the dining area remains clean and organized.
- Customer Relations: Address and resolve any guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and a positive demeanor, striving to exceed expectations.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with fellow servers, kitchen personnel, and management to ensure seamless service and a unified dining experience.
- Sales Promotion: Actively promote menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and drive sales.
- Health Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Ensure compliance with restaurant policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a server in a restaurant setting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of fine dining etiquette and service standards.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with grace and professionalism.
- Outstanding attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Prior experience with POS systems and cash handling is advantageous.
Physical Demands:
- Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Able to lift and carry trays and/or boxes weighing up to 50lbs.
- Must navigate a busy dining area and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
