Position Overview

The charityvillage is on the lookout for a dynamic Executive Director to spearhead the Representation, Negotiation, and Advocacy initiatives within the organization. As a prominent entity representing faculty and staff, the Executive Director will be instrumental in promoting the employment interests of members and improving workplace conditions.

Key Responsibilities

The Executive Director will collaborate with a dedicated team to uphold the core values and mission of the organization. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading negotiations on labor relations and administrative matters
  • Providing strategic guidance to the Board of Directors
  • Advocating for members' rights across various platforms

Essential Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years in senior leadership roles
  • In-depth knowledge of labor relations practices and regulations
  • Proven experience in managing unionized workforces

Desirable Attributes

Experience with governance models driven by members, advanced negotiation capabilities, and a strong commitment to enhancing collective rights will be beneficial.
