Hotel Front Desk Associate Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Hotel Front Desk Associate at the Heritage Inn Hotel & Convention Centre in High River, Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer and direct calls in a professional and courteous manner.

• Process and confirm room reservations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

• Greet, register, and assign rooms to arriving guests, providing exceptional customer service.

• Present statements of charges to departing guests and receive payments, handling any discrepancies or issues that may arise.

• Perform daily reporting using computerized and manual systems, maintaining accurate records and reports.

• Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services and amenities, providing information and resolving any issues.

• Process guest registrations through various channels, including email, phone, and in-person.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are functional and readily available.

• Reconcile online reservations daily, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Requirements:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.

• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

• Professional telephone etiquette, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.

• Ability to work cooperatively with others, as part of a team-oriented environment.

• Availability to work night and weekend shifts, as required.
