Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeper / Cook to join our team at Charles MacPherson Associates. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residence, as well as preparing meals and managing household tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily housekeeping duties, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning kitchen and bathroom areas
  • Prepare and cook meals, following recipes and using basic cooking skills
  • Manage household inventory, including groceries, cleaning products, and toiletries
  • Perform regular laundry and occasional steaming or ironing
  • Manage trash and recycling
  • Supervise trades and contractors as needed, in conjunction with our executive assistant
  • Ensure household security protocols are followed
  • Answer the door and receive packages
  • Provide light pet care
  • Perform errands and other tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Excellent English communication skills and professional personal presentation
  • Comfortable reaching high spaces using a house ladder
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds
  • Excellent housekeeping, laundry, and ironing skills
  • Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Full license and reliable access to a vehicle
