Role Overview

  • The Advertising Budget Analyst will collaborate with the Advertising team to facilitate the creation of promotional materials aimed at enhancing brand visibility among both prospective and existing customers. This role involves managing an advertising budget exceeding $20 million.
  • Building and nurturing essential relationships is crucial, as the Analyst will engage with key internal partners and external vendors to develop content and layout for marketing communications.
  • The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of product and communication strategies, ensuring that all advertising materials are consistent and relevant for public and dealer engagement.
  • A significant portion of the Analyst's responsibilities will involve various administrative tasks, including ongoing budget tracking, monthly billing, forecasting, coordinating vehicles for promotional shoots, and participating in events related to their projects.
  • Monthly processing of departmental invoices and close collaboration with vendors to ensure timely receipt of invoices will be essential.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a comprehensive monthly tracking sheet for invoices.
  • Generate budget exceptions, Purchase Requisitions, and Purchase Orders for new projects, coordinating related accruals.
  • Prepare monthly forecasting summaries to ensure budgets and expenditures align with projected forecasts, reconciling estimates and invoices as necessary.
  • Oversee the Advertising department's fleet of vehicles, including ordering new cars for shoots, managing licensing and shipping, and coordinating repairs and returns.
  • Provide Brand Identity consultation on a project basis for various departments.
  • Act as a liaison between the Advertising team and other internal groups to disseminate relevant information.
  • Participate in general, agency status, and creative meetings as required, following up on action items to ensure project progress.
  • With managerial support, lead and manage assigned projects and smaller campaigns from briefing through creative execution, keeping management informed of progress.
  • Respond to dealer inquiries regarding advertising materials and provide consultation as needed.
  • Coordinate and develop presentations and communications for the advertising group as required.
  • Support and participate in national marketing events, ensuring accurate representation and smooth operation.
  • Contribute to the development of various collateral materials, including new model brochures and point-of-purchase materials, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and Brand Identity guidelines.
  • Check and proofread all content for accuracy from both product and communication perspectives.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure information accuracy.
  • Ensure availability of new model brochures prior to sales launches and regularly check inventory levels to meet dealer demands.
  • Assist in the creation of campaign post reports and monthly advertising summaries to evaluate campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with department managers, agency partners, and internal stakeholders to gather and distribute necessary reports.
  • Coordinate, collect, and share model or brand research from vendors with relevant stakeholders as needed.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the automotive industry is an asset.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is a definite advantage.
