About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Supervisor to join our team at COM4BIKE CYCLING & SPORTS INC. as a key member of our sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and overseeing the sales process to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, including apprentices, stages hands, and design team members.
  • Sales Operations: Assign sales workers to duties, manage sales processes, and ensure that sales targets are met.
  • Training and Development: Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Financial Management: Authorize payments by cheque and manage the sales budget to ensure that expenses are within budget.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that stock levels are adequate to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Integration Support: Support the social and labour market integration of newcomers and refugees by facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
  • Recruitment: Recruit newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster.
  • Credential Recognition: Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition.
  • Mentorship: Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees.
  • Cultural Competency: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
Support for Indigenous People
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
  • Community Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, Indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
  • Cultural Competency: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Elder Support: Facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
Support for Visible Minorities
  • Hiring Practices: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
  • Mentorship: Offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
  • Cultural Competency: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
