Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Karai Sushi & Korean Fried Chicken. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food preparation and service team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation and Service
    • Oversee the preparation and portioning of food to ensure high-quality standards are met.
    • Coordinate the activities of food preparation staff to ensure efficient and effective service.
  • Train and Develop Staff
    • Train new staff members in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve staff performance and productivity.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies
    • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
    • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Ensure Quality Control and Customer Satisfaction
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Establish Work Schedules and Manage Staff
    • Establish work schedules for food preparation and service staff.
    • Hire and manage food service staff to ensure high-quality service.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • English language proficiency.
