Role Summary

As an Employee Assistance Program Clinician, you will play a vital role in a cooperative team dedicated to providing comprehensive services and programs to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Employee Assistance Program services, including confidential counseling, case management, and direct clinical support.
  • Manage case assignments and maintain detailed case progress documentation.
  • Create service plans that outline tailored action steps for each client, with ongoing consultation.
  • Deliver solution-focused brief therapy and conduct thorough psycho-social assessments as required.
  • Offer flexible evening availability for clients, with a minimum of two nights per week.
  • Support after-hours crisis calls through the Client Services Centre.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Valid registration with the appropriate provincial regulatory body.
  • At least 3 years of counseling experience.
  • Proficiency in brief solution-focused counseling techniques.
  • Familiarity with assessment, crisis intervention, and Employee Assistance Program services is advantageous.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in French is a significant asset.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
