Job Summary
As the Director of Service and Delivery, you will lead and manage a team responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective transportation of catering products to our airline clients. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize transportation operations, ensuring timely and reliable delivery of catering products.
- Manage a team of professionals responsible for all aspects of transportation, including logistics planning, route optimization, and driver management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as production and sales teams, to ensure seamless coordination of catering operations.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards related to transportation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing transportation operations within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics principles and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
