Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Service Operations to lead our Service Delivery department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial, operational, and compliance aspects of our transportation operations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the Service Delivery department, including financial and operational performance.
  • Accountable for budget and labor costs.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of Service Delivery staff.
  • Provide strategic direction to meet and exceed service quality and reduce operating costs.
  • Own the planning and coordination of routes and schedules to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Partner with other departments to ensure conflict resolution and removal of potential system/process roadblocks.
  • Responsible for employee discipline and corrective actions in compliance with regulations.
  • Participate in incident/accident investigations and safety improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Degree educated in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or Business Management.
  • Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) in Logistics preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience with demonstrable leadership and senior management activities.
  • Experience in managing large teams within Transport Logistics.
Working Conditions

This is an administrative/management oversight role that requires occasional operation on the ramp side. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and may be required to travel occasionally.
