Team Overview:

The OXRM team is in search of a Senior Technical Program Manager to oversee the release management processes for our suite of products. This role encompasses release coordination, scheduling, timeline management, app submissions, and the publication of applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong enthusiasm for technical operations and workflows that enhance organizational efficiency and provide a competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Scope & Complexity: You will lead initiatives across multiple teams, managing dependencies and engaging with stakeholders from various external teams. You excel at transforming ambiguous challenges into clear project deliverables across several iterations to achieve optimal results.
  • Decision-Making: Acting autonomously as a representative for your domain, your decisions are consistently sound. You play a pivotal leadership role within your team, providing guidance on both technical and business matters.
  • Execution: Your productivity is exceptional, and you enhance the efficiency of those around you. You maintain a comprehensive understanding of how your projects influence the organization’s success and continuously seek ways to improve our project delivery capabilities.
  • Operational Excellence: You thoughtfully implement processes and standards with a focus on automation, ensuring the right level of structure to achieve desired outcomes with minimal overhead.
  • Influence: Your leadership is recognized within your team, where colleagues seek your expertise on product direction, technical designs, and operational strategies.
  • Communication: Your communication skills, both written and verbal, are exemplary, allowing you to serve as the primary contact for business and technical stakeholders regarding your products, services, and features.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a release manager with a history of managing global releases across multi-platform systems and internationally distributed teams. Your work ethic and approach set the standard for best practices within the organization.
  • 5-10 years of experience supporting the complete development lifecycle for Android, Apple, Web, or other platform ecosystems.
  • Experience with app submissions in major app store portals is essential.
  • This role involves overseeing critical functions within the product development environment to ensure high-quality service delivery and alignment with business needs during service changes.
  • Preferred experience in operational and release management within an agile framework in a media or technology setting.
  • Experience in managing change in branching strategies, semantic versioning, sprint planning, dependency management, testing activities, and release tracking.
  • Collaboration with DevOps teams to enhance the Release Engineering pipeline for automated tracking and reporting on release artifacts, including JIRA items, sprint scope, bug reports, test reports, and release notes.
  • Experience in executing large-scale global product launches through a scalable automated release pipeline utilizing CI/CD workflows and QA automation.
  • Familiarity with build and delivery tools such as Maven, Gradle, Bazel, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Spinnaker, or ArgoCD.
