About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager to join our team at Warner Bros. Discovery. As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a critical role in the success of our product development and release management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Release Management: You will be responsible for managing releases for our products, including release coordination, scheduling, managing timelines, app submissions, and publishing apps.
  • Technical Operations: You will oversee key functions within the product development environment to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service to end users.
  • Stakeholder Management: You will establish and manage expectations within the business and drive engineering teams to achieve those expectations to a high standard.
  • Process Improvement: You will drive improvements in Release Engineering pipeline for automated tracking and reporting on release artifacts, including JIRA items, sprint scope, bug report, test report, and release notes.
  • Global Product Launches: You will experience in large-scale global product launches through a scalable automated release pipeline workflow leveraging CI/CD workflows and QA automation workflows.
  • Team Collaboration: You will work with global teams comprising product, engineering, QA, operations functional areas to coordinate dependencies and release planning.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience supporting a full development life cycle for Android/Apple/Web or other platform ecosystems.
  • App Submission Experience: Must have app submission experience in one of the major app store portals.
  • Operational and Release Management Experience: Operational and release management experience in an agile framework within a media or technology company preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Familiar with build and delivery tools similar to Maven, Gradle, Bazel for build, and GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Spinnaker, ArgoCD or similar for delivery.
